This cam does what it says. Pro’s: can record onto mini-disc, compact full of the features you would expect from Canon. Con’s: not perticularly fond of the AVCHD format as my DVD does not play this and converters of this format are few and far between. Other then that its a solid well build product.

I found the Cannon HR10 HD DVD Camcorder easy to use, so this would be good if buying a Camcorder for the first time. The 2.7″ screen is so clear and the zoom is great for getting close to your subject. The only problem I came across was when I went to take a still photo there was no Mini SD Card in with the Camcorder, so I couldn’t test this. I went to a camera shop on holiday and they sold me an ordinary SD Card which wouldn’t fit in the Camcorder. So I will have to make sure I buy a mini SD Card separately from Amazon. Other than that I am really pleased with my purchase.

Next day delivery. Very pleased with the Camcorder. For HD quality HD equipment is required. I also bought an additonal battery charger, this
speeds up charging time against the built-in charger.

This little camcorder is remarkable and packed with amazing features. It takes little effort to use and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Whilst the manual is very detailed. little reading will be necessary unless you want the full benefit. Its functions are easy to understand and the software easy to install………. 10/10 – J H van Rheede

i paid 299.99 at argos and give it 10 out of 10 you wont find a better one on the market.easy to use and fantastic picture both video and stills.take my word for it.
