The Flip Ultra HD Camcorder is flipping good. A picture is often worth a thousand words. To have such a compact video with you to take either a serious video shoot or to record a magic moment with ease of operation answers all my needs.Flip Video Ultra High Definition Camcorder With 8GB Memory – Black

After reading many reviews before I decided to purchase the Flip Video Ultra HD I can only say that they were all right this product is easy to install on your computer easy to use. having seen how good this was my parents went on to buy one for them. This is a fantastic product and it does what it says.

I have purchased Flip Ultra HD camcorder recently. The video picture is quite nice outside,
but shooting video inside does not give so good results. There is no indicator of battery status.
Also the USB connector is not very useful without an usb cabel. But these are minor complains and I can
recommend buying this camcorder.

This product is absolutely what it says on the tin – ultra-easy to use and perfect for simple filming. If you have been playing with movie-making on a digital camera or phone and want something to produce significantly better results, but don’t want the complexity of a camcoder, then this is for you. It is ideal for “point and shoot” and produces images of a quality perfectly suitable for showing on a PC, YouTube or even your TV. It will never produce video of the quality of a traditional video camera, but then it is not intended for that. Get it out of the box, plug it into your PC to charge for a while, then off you go. Point, film, zoom in and out, stop, playback. That is it. The downsides? In an ideal world I would have liked a jack for an external microphone, and a remote control would have made Billy-no-mates filming easier, but those are the only things that lost it a star. There is a tripod screw socket so a Gorilla tripod is worth getting, don’t bother with the flimsy Flip accessory. You can even shape the Gorilla legs to fit your head, add an elasticated chinstrap and you are good to go for First Person filming!

I bought the Flip as a cheaper HD alternative camcorder for my other half and he absolutely loves it. It’s easy to use, portable, very modern in its looks etc and the picture quality is very good. The only downside to the Flip is that it just has an internal memory and can only hold 2 hours which is difficult if you are shooting for a long time without a computer to upload it to.
Overall, a definite thumbs up for this little gem
